Hello everyone, to head off any questions of concerns with serverbuilds.net relationships with vendors/retailers, I’ve compiled this list. If there are any further questions, please reply to this thread or DM me.

Relationship Properties

  1. Paid advertisement
    Exactly what it sounds like. Advertising a product or service for incentive.
    Note: “Reviews” that are incentivized for a positive review, will never be notated as a review.
    They will be labeled as a paid advertisement.
    • serverbuilds have not participated in this type of content. There is no plan to do so in the future.
  2. Review sample
    Sometimes vendors provide review samples at reduced or no cost, with no incentive for a positive review.
    serverbuilds.net has not, and will never accept samples in exchange for a positive review.
  3. Community Offers
    Often vendors contact me directly with a special offer for the community, with no strings attached, no compensation, etc.
  4. Affiliate
    Affiliate sales are a percentage kickback on sale of items.
    These funds help take care of operating costs, creation of new content, etc.
    Affiliate links/relationships also helps keep serverbuilds.net advertisement free.
    • Example: Amazon or ebay links.

Thanks for the transparency although many of us know how sites work and get funded to pay for operating costs. We try to support serverbuilds.net by using the affiliate links when possible in order to keep it going! Thanks for all of the guides and the compilation of information that you provide, it’s been invaluable to many of us. The group deals are also fantastic!
