Hey all, i just got given this GPU from a friend as he upgraded to be able to build my first PC and just curious what i could use it for, ive been interested in Plex and other things, would this be fine for it?
Use it for something like this, not Plex.
That is still a very capable gaming card. Better than a 1080 Ti.
Titan V goes for $1,500+ on ebay right now.
Yeah it’s overkill for Plex. Also uses a lot of power
Best for gaming or artificial intelligence
I use my old Nvidia card for object detection in linux for my security cams. I will eventually switch to a google Coral.ai TPU but the wait time on those is next year.
