Fairly certain you wouldn’t need 6 connections to it; 2, maybe even 1, but not 6
Edit: Just to elaborate, if you are only using SATA or single port SAS drives you probably only need to use one cable; using a 2nd cable would probably only be beneficial if you have a second HBA and are using dual port SAS drives.

I know it’s not a configuration in the guide, but most people’s setups here would probably be equivalent to a 1 node, 1 shelf setup which is essentially just a 2 node 1 shelf with a failed node
