Odds are, it will work. Although it’s certainly possible it’s incompatible. If CSM is enabled, disable it. If CSM is disabled, enable it. Look up taping off the SMBUS pins. Disable anything resembling Fast Boot. The motherboard not supporting hardware RAID has nothing to do at all with whether an HBA will work.
