Netgear 8 port Gigabit switch (with 4 port POE, up to 55W)
Netgear 8 port 10GbE switch
2 x iStar USA 26" rail kit
4 x StarTech 2U vented shelf
Lancher 60-pack cage nuts + M6 screws

Looking to add a shelf to my rack - any particular reason aside from cost/flexibility you chose to go with the StarTech 2U vented shelf vs. something like the StarTech1U Adjustable Vented Server Rack Mount Shelf?

I liked the short shelves because I have short equipment. Now I have one of those longer shelves that I have a rail-less server sitting on.
