I bought an i3-10100 used to run Plex on Unraid with hardware transcoding enabled. Just wondering what anyone thinks the play/transcode limits would be? My library is a mix of 1080p (mostly movies) and 720p (mostly TV), no 4K unless it’s direct play. I’ve been monitoring the CPU using netdata and saw a sustained spike ~80%, which seemed high. Max plays would be ~20 with 10 transcodes - am I am my capacity limit?
Not very precise, i would sort of thing 10 transcodes woudl be doable, but may bump into a hangup with something cpu intensive like subtitles.
