This was my main unRAID server; it’s worked flawlessly running 10-12 Docker apps and streaming 2-3 Plex transcodes with CPU and RAM to spare. For typical unRAID Plex and media apps, this system typically runs on less than 25% CPU and uses only 8GB RAM, so there is enough leftover for VM’s or plain dabbling. And the onboard Broadcom LSI 2008 SAS2 makes adding a large number of drives very easy.
Simply, add case, power supply and hard drives. Affordable and powerful entry into a unRAID server.
It’s a good system. I’m only selling because I moved to a single CPU micro ATX board.
