My work pays for my phone bill, in a way that they may not know it (I get bundled in with VIP’s but am not one). Work pays Verizon each month for my bill, and I never see it.
Every few years I buy my own iPhone through Apple, not carrier locked, and then swap in my Verizon Sim.
I’m planning to buy one of the new iPhones, but with the move to eSim… what happens? Will my old Sim # port over directly if I do the iPhone-iPhone transfer set up? Will I need to ask Verizon for a new sim? If that’s the case, I’ve needed “corporate approval” in the past, and might tip off the bean counters…
