How have I not heard of this already? It seems like setting it up is fairly straight forward. I am putting it here to see if anyone is using it. The obvious uses are to use multiple HP290’s as outsourced transcoders for those people with more than 20+ needed transcodes, but I am going to try and set it up to outsource my security camera encoding since my zoneminder VM doesnt have an iGPU.
There have been several similar projects (example: unicorn transcoder) for this type of transcode load distribution. Imo none of them I have tried so far work well (or at all). Still interested to see the results here.
