Recommandation for transcode Intel Core i5-13500 or Intel Xeon E3-1275v5

Hi community,

I need your help regarding your recommandation which CPU I should get for a VPS mainly for plex transcoding. I could get an Intel Core i5-13500 or Intel Xeon E3-1275v5. I would need at high peaks approx. 10 simultaneous transcodes from 1080p.

I think I will go for the i5 because of the better igpu uhd770

7th gen and up had a great iGPU

11th gen and up is even better.

So yes. Overkill. I would take the 13th gen unless your wanted to save money
