I would like to self-host several Erlang Nitrogen web apps but need guidance. I have a Verizon Fios account with static IP address, a domain name, Verizon Fios Quantum Gateway router, a mini PC pfSense box, several unmanaged switches, several Ububtu Linux servers and development boxes on my LAN.
I’d like to configure the router and pfSense so I can securely self-host my apps without exposing development and backup systems to intrusions and exploits. My network skills are limited so I need high-level outline of steps I need to take and pointers toward thorough tutorials so I can develop sufficient understanding and skills to safely manage these deployments. I’d be most grateful for any and all help.
