What’s your plans for this? I have two of them that came with the rack I bought.
I’m going to use it to have VPN tunnel to my office. This way I don’t have to use the Cisco Anyconnect VPN client. The client disconnects now and then, and the workstation I use is a VM. Since our VPN policy is set to not allow connections from RDP sessions, I have to connect to my VMware server, open the console, log into the workstation, log into the VPN, close out, and finally RPD into the VM. With a tunnel, the port the VM is assigned will always be “on” my office’s network.
I’m also thinking about setting up dynamic DNS on it and put my Emby/NextCloud server out on a DMZ so I can access them from anywhere with a domain name.
