WAF = Wife Acceptance Factor
Hiya gang. I’d like to install a 24 or 48 port POE+ managed switch delivering about 150 watts (more is fine). My rack is right around the corner from the dinner table. I’m finding a lot of great deals on eBay.
My concern is noise. Does anyone have experience with switches of these level (list below)? I need it to not hear it 10 ft away and around the corner from the dinner table. I don’t mind replacing the fans.
I’ve not used a managed switch before. I’m comfortable with digging into a CLI, but would prefer a web interface. My budget is $100.
