I have an Unraid server with a LSI 9217-8e for the drives directly attached to my server along with a LSI 9207-8e attached to my Netapp DS4243. Unraid kind of see’s the drive on bootup but does not give drive temps or smart data to any of those drives. I can write to those drives manually through a command prompt or by SSH. Unraid is reporting multiple PCI errors on bootup and does not write any data to those drives on its own. I was noticing that all of my internal drives were filling up but nothing on the Netapp. I have tried the 9207-8e on two different PCI slots with the same result. Is there something wrong with the card??
I’d wager it’s a bad card.
