I have a supermicro x9scl-f with an e3 1220 and 8gb ram. I have two open memory slots I’m looking to fill up and I wanted to know if this Ebay listing would work.

Nope, that’s RDIMM, and you want ECC UDIMM. Look for E after the speed, e.g., PC3-10600E. Should be about $15/8GB.

Thanks, sadly all I can find is $30 for 8gb sticks. That’s ok, still cheap to double the memory.
