Ok, so I had my heart set on a Gigabyte GA-7PESH2, but apparently I’m late to the game and they are now unicorns that cannot be found. Closest thing I found was the X9DRH-7F, but it’s $700… (a bit much). I’d prefer to spend under $400 for the MOBO. How I planned to use it:
2 x LGA 2011 (2x Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2690 v2 CPUs)
10Gbp/s LAN
8 x SAS 6Gb/s ports
1x PCIe x16 (Gen3 x16 bus) slot (which I plan to use for Quadro P6000)
2 PCIe x8 (Gen3 x4 bus) slots (which I plan to use for 2x LSI SAS Cards)
Any suggestions? I need to be able to install up to 24 drives (2x SAS Cards) and have enough PCIE lanes to also have a Quadro P6000 installed as well as a 10Gbp/s NIC if the Mobo doesnt natively support it.
