GA-7PESH2 Which memory sticks are bad?

I am running Unraid on my GA-7PESH2 board. I am getting ECC memory read errors and want to replace the faulty memory. My problem is I don’t know how to associate error messages with memory slots on the motherboard. Example errors:
Dec 7 08:19:31 unraid-green kernel: EDAC MC0: 2 CE memory read error on CPU_SrcID#0_Ha#0_Chan#0_DIMM#1 (channel:0 slot:1 page:0x7f89a offset:0xf00 grain:32 syndrome:0x0 - OVERFLOW area:DRAM err_code:0001:0092 socket:0 ha:0 channel_mask:1 rank:5)

I am mostly trying to use this for reference:
https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/server_manual_7pesh_e_1003.pdf

When you look at the ram install in the manual, there are very specific instructions on chip1, 2, 3, 4 etc. You might have chips in the wrong slots. I remember that being a little confusing when I did the initial build but it’s there in the manual.

I have all the slots filled with the same model & size of memory. Or are you taking about something else I am missing?

All 16 slots filled? Ram specs? I’d enable bios lvl error reporting to see if you can get a better picture.

You are seeing errors from chan 1 dimm 1 and chan 0 dimm 1. Could try pulling all ram and testing 1 stick at a time.

Correct, all 16 slots filled with this:

IBM 46C7453 Hynix 8GB 2Rx4 PC3-10600R HMT31GR7AFR4C-H9

Any pointers for bios settings and ram test methods? My understanding is I need to disable ECC before testing the memory.

Did you manage to figure this out? I’ve got a similar issue on a Supermicro board: NSFW 2.0 Memory Errors

No. I got a different motherboard and stopped getting errors.

Ah. Bummer. Thanks for the info
