Following r/JDM_WAAAT’s guide for the NAS Killer 4.0 - just wanted to know if there was anything missing. This will be my first PC build since 2010, and I’ve forgotten everything about building in the last ten years
I like the idea of a small-profile build, with Unraid + Docker + Plex, that I can use as a media server and to use for work as a) digital asset backup and b) a second machine to run grunt-work CPU-based tasks (I make games for a living). With everything new it comes out to $1,100, I’m going to try to get that down as much as possible by sourcing stuff off Ebay - but I wanted to make sure it’ll all make sense / fit / etc.
