Few questions about using a HBA

I will use a LSI 9207-8e in a HP 800 G4 SFF.

  1. will it need to be actively cooled? I’ve read these cards run hotter and need airflow, but I’m not sure there is enough in this case. anyone have this setup?
  2. I’ve read that HBA disables deep sleep. Is this true?

is there a fan I can add to it with zip tie etc, or add inside the case? any guidance?

I saw some people cut a hole in top cover and add a fan etc but I’m not experienced enough to do that

Yes you can add a fan if you like. Zip ties are a fine option.
