I want to build a NAS and my requirements are as follows:
- Archiving general data, photos, videos, etc
- Sync my iPhone photos to automatically upload photos.
- Plex
I currently have around 6TB in external drives
I found this deal with the parts I’m looking for. Is it a good value?
The only thing I would change is the boot drive to SSD.
For storage, I’m thinking of 4x 8TB in raidz-1 and 2 spare sata ports in case I need to extend.
