I’m looking at the NAS Killer v1.0 (2019) guide, and it doesn’t mention anything about a graphics card. Do you need a discrete graphics card for that build? I don’t see any information about the Xeon X34xx CPUs having integrated graphics on Intel’s website.
Generally speaking, server motherboards have basic VGA controllers on them.
Is there a reason you’re looking at that guide in particular over others?
Oh so as long as it has a VGA controller built in you don’t need any other graphics card to run it?
I just looked at it because it said 2019. Is the 4.0/4.1 version the one I should be using? The main pages for 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and Anniversary build don’t seem to have any dates on them, so I wasn’t sure which build was the most up to date.
Yeah, the later revisions are the newer ones! Start with the 4.1/4.0 unless you’re running a very strict budget, then you can look at earlier revisions.
