Might be a dumb question. I really like WireGuards implementation in UnRaid. Can these little boxes run UnRaid and just run the Wireguard server?

I wouldn’t do that personally, that’s a waste of a $60 unraid license. Surely there’s an easier way to do that…

That is a nice deal. We literally pay around $300 each to buy these brand new at work. Seriously. We’ve got about 500 in the field, maybe more.

can these be re-imaged with another OS?

Yep, I’m running full Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on mine. Base install uses about 6-7GB of storage, idles at 0.9 GB RAM usage.

It’s full x86, so you can pretty much run anything.

Maybe this would be better used as a pfSense or OPNSense for the WireGuard server.
