I have a SuperMicro X9DRH-7F with an onboard 2208 SAS controller SAS controller. I want to convert to IT mode. From the research I have done, this means actually converting to 2308-IT. I have created several versions of FreeDOS USB boot disks, most times the MegaRec.exe tool did not recognize my controller. I finally found one that saw the controller, but the next steps did not yield the same results as the recommended steps I was following. What LSI tool set should I be using and where/how do I get them? If there is a list of corresponding instruction steps, that would be helpful as well.
The current 2208 firmware version is 3.240.5-2282.
