Can you mix 4kn drives with standard 512?

I know 4Kn drives require an HBA that is compatible, buy if you have a compatible one can you mix 4kn drives and 512 sectored drives on unraid if they’re on the same controller and backplane?

Secondly is 4kn compatibility on backplanes a thing or does it only rely on the capabilities of the HBA?

You should be able to, as long as your HBA supports 4Kn drives.
