For what it’s worth, the RAM they sent me with this bundle is two 8GB sticks of Kingston 1600Mhz DDR3, much better quality than I would have expected for some tossed-in stuff.

Interesting, mine came with two 8GB 2Rx4 Samsung ECC REG 1333MHz modules.

i wonder if this board would support the E5-2678V3 since that supports both DDR3 and DDR4 memory. the supermicro page mentions only E5-26XX v2 compatibility…

Weird, maybe I just got lucky then.
Although 2x 8GB Samsung 1333 is pretty solid too.

I am almost certain nothing in the X9 line supports v3. That is X10 territory.

This is LGA2011, not LGA2011-3. This board only supports V1/V2.

This is specifically noted as v2 in the post and the listing. We also don’t yet have any guides based on v3 due to current prices.

Guessing you want to sell as a combo, and not the CPUs separate?

My first board came with 2 broken memory retaining clips. They were happy to RMA it, and shipped out a new one super quick. The replacement board came with 4 x HP branded (Samsung 4GB M393B5170FH0-CH9Q5 ECC) DDR3 ECC.

Had the exact same modules just without heatsinks, and got it up to 32GB.

Building it today in the Rosewill 4500 chassis. Will post details soon. Have the motherboard standoff measurements if anyone needs them.

This isn’t something I am selling! This is a tech deal that we noticed and shared.

Looking forward to it!

Oh wow, I’m dumb haha.

Sold out bummer

This combo is still available, it’s not as good of a deal but it is cheaper.

Here’s the build I threw together: Anniversary 2.0 Combo (X9DRL-iF + 2x E5-2650v2) Build

It also includes Rosewill 4500 motherboard standoff measurements if anyone needs them.
