I found a seller selling Cloud Speed gen2 1.92tb drives pretty reasonably-priced; however, in the description they are listed as having 25 or fewer bad sectors, I know for hhds that’s a hell no, but for enterprise SSDs as a cache disk and for dockers should I risk it ?
Cheaper than $60? These were down to $47 a short while ago. “<25 bad sectors” is just a disclaimer to protect themselves, but unless it’s a stellar deal I’d wait for a listing that doesn’t have that disclaimer. Supply should be plentiful.
I think the CloudSpeed drives are too slow, personally. You can get decent 2TB NVMe drives for less than $100.
34 dollars for 2 , so ill give it a try and see.
