Supermicro X11SSQ-L-DE05B, Intel Pentium G4560 (2C/4T) 7th-gen, 8GB DDR4, HSF included

Looks like these are pulls out of 1U servers, could be great if you want something a little newer for pfSense in this guide. Would also work great for Plex QSV transcoding.

$104.30 + shipping (seller is accepting $83 offers)

What is going on with the black plug(6pin molex?) hanging off the fan and also plugging into the board? Is it a 6 pin delivery for an add on card, maybe with an extender of some kind?

Still can’t tell what it is after looking at manual. It is notable that this board does not have the m.2 soldered. X11SSQ/-V has a m.2

Looks like it’s just a 4 pin CPU extension.

received an offer from ebay for that one at 111.75$

really tempting as I really need a cheap quicksync box and I can’t acces most of the deals since I’m in canada…

Do it!

I just snagged the last one.

I grabbed one. Thanks for the heads up.

Should we replace the CPU coolers?

Depends on what you decide to use it for. The CPU cooler should be adequate, but it might be loud. I’d take look to see if it’s a normal mounting system when you get it, before you decide to buy another cooler.

Compared to the hp 290, is this a better deal? Planning to use it as a jellyfin server with QuickSync. I’ve already got a case, psu and drives.

Finally grabbed one at 83$ and an old barracuda firewall as a rackmount case for 50$can shipped…
