These drives were purchased new from Costco across the span of several days during the summer of 2018. These drives all have excellent SMART stats and are in perfect health. Each drive has a power-on count of around 30, and a power-on hours total of around 6,483 hours, or 270 days.
I purchased these drives, unboxed them, shucked them, installed them into actively cooled hot swap bays, and ran them in a Synology RAID array using Jun’s loader in a 4U Rosewill RSV-L4500 in my temperature and humidity-controlled basement.
These will ship in anti-static bags, wrapped securely in a generous amount of bubble-wrap. The drives will be bundled together and wrapped a second time, and will ship in a corrugated cardboard box with extra padding to survive the roughest delivery guy.
