Demystifying Intel PRO/1000 Quad Port NICs

TL;DR: I highly recommend the i340/i350 for any application requiring a stable NIC (pfSense), with the -T2 being the most appropriate and cheapest option in most cases. You may have seen us recommend the Intel Pro/1000 series quad port gigabit NICs, and we do so with good reason - they’re cheap and reliable.
