Hi all,
Looking to get some opinions on my planned build. I’m intending to re-purpose an old home PC, so 90% of the parts will be from that previous build.
CPU: i5-3470
MOBO: ASRock B75 Pro3-M
CPU COOLER: Gravity i2
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 8gb (2x4gb) DDR3-1600
CASE: Thermaltake V4 Black edition
PSU: be quiet! System Power 9 400W
CASE FANS: Artic F12 x 2
Basically every thing but the PSU and Fans has been stripped from the old PC. I intend to throw in a few IronWolf’s and a SSD for a cache drive. OS will likely be Unraid.
My intention for the NAS is pure media storage, mostly shows and movies which I can stream via network to my SHIELD. Nothing sensitive / back up critical will be stored on the NAS as I already utilise Backblaze and several off site backups for my important stuff.
Can any one foresee any issues with this build? Cheers!
