im desperate reading very review of pc part and most of them was not positive. i want to build one for many purposes.
Here: With Encryption on the storage
- Windows VM
- Linux VM For CTF
- Git Server
- Plex Server
- Python web scraping and web server
But problem is im not sure which would be good for long term(less fail for hd), quiet and stable.
- should i get ECC RAM?
- am i limited with those components?
main boot + extra storage: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E2T0B/AM)
storage to put files (Raid1 for redundancy): 2x4TB WD Red PRO
CPU: AMD 3400G 4 Core 8 Thread
Motherboard: Unfortunately I couldn’t find a motherboard with good reviews
PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 550 80 Plus Gold 550W
RAM:Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2666 MHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Gaming Memory Kit 64GB (16GBx4) CL16 BLS4K16G4D26BFSE (Red)
case: fractal design Define R6 Usb-c
is those good components for my purpose? is it stable or would it fail?
