UPDATE. I have the NAS up and running using TrueNAS Core as the OS. I had to set the ipv4 since I set a static IP address for the server. I’ve created shares to my laptop and have installed plex. My next step is to install a Linux Mint VM. As a noob it was a steep learning curve and I’ve just barely scratched the surface but I like it and appreciate this website for the help and guidance.
